Experience

Edmas Neo is the founder of Accrete Innovation and the SEA Anchor programme. He has deep network connections across Southeast Asia, Taiwan and South Korea. He is an active contributor within the Singapore startup community, a well-sought after speaker, and plays a key role in developing the Singapore startup ecosystem.

Edmas has over 20 years of experience in the technology sector across private and public sectors. During the earlier years of his career, Edmas headed corporate venture deals, co-built and exited one of the largest eProcurement company in Singapore. He later joint Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore and managed large scale whole-of-government and managed over SGD 50 million project funds.

While acting as the Regional Director SG Innovate, a Singapore government wholly owned deep-tech investment company, he initiated the TAGPASS accelerator which pioneered various corporate co-innovation programmes in Singapore which led to the successful enablement of key programmes in Fintech, Smart Cities, InsurTech, AI and ICT. Was born in Tomsk – a small but intelligent Russian city at the very heart of Eurasia. In 2002, she got her first master’s degree in teaching English and cultures. At that time, she firmly decided to be a diplomat at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. With that in mind, she got a job in a court and entered the Russian Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation where she got her second master’s degree. After 3 years in the court, in 2006 she turned to business. She started from a Business Development Manager position in a consulting company. Those were 3 significant years of self-determination.

In 2010, she became a co-owner of her first business Lingvista Translation Agency  professional translation services and in 2017 she has started the second business project – Smart Business Trips helps exporters to explore and validate foreign markets and to make the first steps.

Since year 2017, Yulia has been contributing to Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation. She initiates collaboration among business, government and science/academia in APEC region with the aim to facilitate SME development in the region.
